How long does a radio app take?
For a standard Android radio app with live stream, schedule and notifications, we typically go from approved scope to Play Store in a few weeks. iOS adds a little time because of Apple's review. We'll give you an exact timeline in your quote.
Do I need my own streaming server, or can you provide one?
Either works. If you already stream, we'll simply connect your existing URL. If you don't, we'll set up and host a streaming server for you, sized to your expected listeners, and scale it as you grow.
Whose Google Play account will the app be published under?
Your choice. We can publish under your station's developer account so you fully own the listing, or publish it for you if you'd rather not manage a console. Either way, the app is branded entirely as your station.
What happens after launch — do I pay again for fixes?
Bug fixes on delivered features are covered. Ongoing hosting/streaming is a running cost, and new features are quoted separately. Every station we've launched still gets compatibility updates from us as Android evolves.
Can you add features like requests, podcasts or ads?
Yes — song requests, listener feedback, podcast/archive sections, live chat, event galleries and ad slots are all things we've built. Tell us what your listeners need and we'll scope it.
We're a small CRS with a limited grant budget. Can you still help?
That's most of our clients. We'll suggest a lean first version that covers what your listeners actually use, split payment across milestones, and add features later when funding allows.
